I don't know how many of you buy those NIU Academic Planners that are available at the VCB for some ridiculous price, but I noticed this year some of the NIU football games are listed throughout the planner. However, only three games were listed correctly, the games against: WMU, Kent State, and Ball State. The NIU/SIU game was listed to play today.... and there are no other games listed beyond those previous four. I think this was a good idea to do, seeing that some students aren't even aware when the games are. How that is possible I do not know. But if they were going to do this they should have at least done it right and listed all the games on the correct dates.
SH!T happens?

I repeat a few favorite cybresmantras.

Few things left in good old US of A are consistently, accurate, on time nor dependable.

We are kwik to blame such shortcomings on lead, the Chinese, our trade policies, fat cats & perverts in Congress, lobbyists, unions, Dems, Repubs, liberals, conservatives, Christians, Moslems, believers- non believers, homos and all those in between.

Sometimes, we do seem to live in the AGE OF MISINFORMATION & IGNORANCE among the masses not much different comparatively on a scale of 1 to 10 than existed during the Middle Ages, internet or otherwise.

BOTTOMLINE? Much of what the educ. org paying my salary pumps out daily & weekly is rife with omissions, conflicting data, errors attributed to the not known origins category of daily F U s.

That was an insightful response cyberdawg. Not quite sure what it means but nevertheless.
There is absolutely no way that anyone interested in football wouldn't know when our games are. It's simply not possible. It's advertised everywhere and on the sports page in the Northern Star every week.
...unless the person is only remotely attached and not truly interested in NIU athletics and choosing to follow the team on occasion in between summmer break, playing video games, watching TV reality shows , surfing the net and abusing the cell phone.

I was just saying that it might be helpful for freshman who are not aware of when the football games are that's all. Considering some of the attendance numbers for home games, there isn't too much that can be done to get the word out believe me.
