We lost to Iowa. A Better Big 10 team. They recruit 4 star players. They have a lot of talent. I was hoping we might steal one but not yesterday. SIU will be a better barometer. If our running game does not improve, then it might be trouble. Dan will be fine. Our defense looked good. Let's wait till After SIU game.
Every game will be an adventure and roller coaster ride even after SIU game.
A 1-AA team will be a better barometer than a 1-A team? Are we 1-AA?

Agreed.

Look at what happend to CMU, WMU, and Toledo.

Once the running game gets going, you will seen Dan play much better. I want to see Spann get some carries this week. I only saw him in the backfield for a couple plays yesterday, and he never got the ball.

Although unless something unforseen happens the next few weeks, I think we'll have to wait until CMU to see where we really are at.

SIU is a very good 1AA team. They get a few BCS recruits who leave for Playing time. If we don't win and run the ball well, it might be a long season. Because we could not run against Iowa does not mean we can't win the MAC.

I think we have a whole two transfers from I-A schools.
Do the transfers start??

This year, they do.
I think Klake's point is made. If you have two transfers that come in and start immediately, that's a major bonus. No Division 1A school can sanp its fingers and get two starters from elsewhere - they must wait a year.

Oh yeah, I absolutely agree with you. But compared to other I-AA schools, SIU doesn't really bring in too many I-A transfers.
