#3 is that Chad Spann....he did line up @ TB and was a gunner on the punt team. Noticed #33 Patrick George played gunner too.


Our OL was clearly out played by a much better unit. I feel as a unit they will improve. A couple of sacks/pressures were because the RB failed to pick up a blitzer or whiffed. Our skilled people are seriously lacking. RB's are trying to cut back too much bust it up the field be aggressive..cut & go. Britt is our only game breaker. Dan played one of his worse games ever, don't believe we will see that again.

Special teams. Nednick has to make that kick thats in his range ..KO were good. KO return #13 Adonis, that should have been a touchdown! He had one guy to beat and got MANHANDLED to the ground. He never turn the jets on if he has them. The blocking on that play was sensational.

To beat a better skilled team you have to be flawless in the kicking game we obviously were not.

Defense ..they are tough to score on..they play fast Pruitt ,McCarthy among many others played well. You hold a team to -16- points you should win.

Iowa will have a good year minimum 5-3 Big 10 , maybe 6-2 and 9-10 wins gets you a nice bowl. Their receivers suck.

Novak coached a good game. His guys came to play.

How can you be so sure Dan won't play poorly like this again?

Our running backs need to be far more aggressive. Way too much dancing as they approached the holes. Iowa's front was very, very good, but the RBs hesitation was making them easy targets as they stood still.

Spann is #3. Hopefully he gets some carries next week.

Commentators had some good words about Spann. I'd like to see him in teh mix at RB. Clanton and Anderson dance around WAY too much.

I think our o-line got manhandled and made our TB's and Danny look worse than they were. Back in '05 when Dan had some very good protection he made some nice plays.

In the program, next to Spann's picture is "#1" and in the numerical listing, he's listed as #2!

I thought #3 was DeMarcus Grady?

Well Mr. Lowe....er... I mean Kedz,,,Dan has had many a fine day in a Huskie uniform. I have not forgotten his coming off the bench @ CMU in 05 to throw 4 Td's or the terrific nite he had in Toledo to close out the MAC West. Right or wrong I believe in Dan.

I agree that our O line got manhandled but Dan's lack of foot speed hurts. He also held on to the ball too long on one of the sacks. Throw the ball OB and get to the next play but don't take the sack.
