I watched I assume the final practice before the game Saturday and we could not catch the ball for nothing. The receivers were dropping everything! I guess that is why Webb is going to be a wideout Saturday. I will not say what else I saw to help State out any, but, some surprises are in store.

Gee! UAB receivers dropping the ball. We have NEVER had that happen before, have we? Let's just say a couple of prayers for receivers and blockers, cross our fingers and toes, and hope we have a good game, representative play, no injuries to any players and lots of Blazer points.
That was your final practice? Usually we don't have the visitors come into town until friday morning. Weird.
Maybe Chavez is their receivers coach.
We are going to run the ball people, wait and see!!!! I can't wait to finally see the wishbone formation again!!! Norman at Fullback and Slaughter and Thornton at tailback.

We arent coming to Michigan to practice,, we will come to play and win. Strap on the helmets and tighten up the shoestrings cause we are going to play speedball against your bigguns.
You mean a UAB football team might have an organized, thought out, game plan? One where we attempt to play to our strengths and do everything within our power to try and win a game? I'm flabbergasted!

I like the new coach already.
whoot!

My understanding is that Wed. was a full pads, full contact practice. Today or tomorrow at East Lansing will most likely be a walk-thru.
