There'll be a lot of orange in the Jones that night! Nice to see the Cuse play a biggie outside of NY. Might be worth it for me to drive there. Hmmmm.

Oh well, at least my boys took care of business last year in ATL. Departures will allow UConn to exact revenge, I'm sure. Ah, well, at least GT is stepping it up in the schedule department.

I think the leagues split and go .500.

Though Virginia BB finished 20-9 last year and was ranked on some polls, they are hardly a biggie. Cuse will murder them with the freshmen Boeheim got coming in.
I hope you mean it's GT that looking for revenge. UCONN dusted them off in the NCAA title game a few years back- where it really counts. And of course, UCONN had to beat up Duke just to get to GT.

The tail end of this link explains it better:

Compared to the average parade of cannon fodder that's brought to the Carrier Dome, a road trip in front of 14,000+ represents a decent game. I expect Cuse to be the better team, but this isn't a trip to Norfolk State.

I can't tell if you're being a fan or a hater. From February 11 of this past season: GT 65, UConn 52

Since then GT lost they're two best players and will be back to average.

Yes, I remember the championship game and was quite thrilled to see Tech simply get a shot. I remember watching UConn and appreciating how good they were. I also remember Jim Calhoun making sure UConn got credit for EVERYTHING, even Tech's missed free throws and Duke's heave-ho shots from waaaaaaaay beyond the arc at the end of their game. 03-melodramatic If GT can get revenge for that game then great, but simply winning in Storrs/Hartford wouldn't equate.
Nah, I think he is talking about the game last year where the jackets had little problem with Uconn. Though I do expect Uconn to win this season, by feb. GT will have played one of the hardest non-conference schedules in the country and a month's worth of ACC games. Hopefully Causey or Miller will have the point guard questions answered by then. Having Clinch back in the line-up should make a huge difference. Don't sleep on UVA, they have a great homecourt advantage with thier new arena and Sean Singletary can take over a game at anytime.

BC over Providence
Miami over St Johns
Syracuse over Virginia
UNC over Rutgers
Pittsburgh over Duke
Cincinnati over NC State
UConn over GT
Duke over St Johns

4-4
Why would anyone pick BC over Providence. Don't y'all remember what happened last year. And that's when BC was good.
However, I think Duke beats Pitt. Coach K won't let two seasons in a row get out of hand and Pitt lost some ah, talent. So they say. Has Pitt ever made it to the fnal four?
After getting beat by Whiticha (whatever) State last year in the carrier dome. Syr may as well schedule some opponents from higher profile conferences. Nobody's easy anymore.

That was my tossup game. I just think that Tyrese Rice will be too much for Providence.
This is strange. We're talking about hoops right before the start of football season. 06-basketball It's all good though!

I see it as talking college sports now that college is back in session! Helps having bona fide schedules, TV listings and a better idea on the shape of your opponents.

Game on! 04-cheers
