has there ever been an organized send off for the team? It would be awesome if someone could organize a group, including the band, cheer team, etc to be at the stadium when the team takes off for the airport.
This could be a great tradition to start and build more excitement around the program

Would be great to be part of a sendoff like that. Western usually sends the team off on Bowl games or Homecoming with a crowd and the band. Don't know about openning games, but it would be a good tradition to start!
does anyone have a contact in the Athletic Department they could use to pitch the idea? Maybe we could get Couch to mention the concept in the K'zoo paper?
