Western Michigan on the West side, sounds right to me. Thanks for the pics, very cool idea on NIU's part.

Agree totally. Every team in this conference should follow suit.
Miami has the conference teams logos on the outside of Yager Stadium.

Yep, i saw that when i went there last season for the NIU game. I thought they complimented the stadium very well and were pretty cool. What i found interesting is that Temple's was already up there despite not being an "official" member yet. Below is a photo i took.
Did they build a 14th flag pole? just in case.

No, it was just part of the original design. However, in one of the earliest versions of the Yordon Center they showed alternating red and white NIU flags on all the poles. MAC flags were not there.
BG already flies team's flags on gameday.
My only error to point out is that the "LT" Falcon for BGSU isn't being used for athletics anymore.
They used the old Redskin logo on the stadium too. Good for them! Political correctness should be done away with.

The NIU and BSU stadium improvements are fantastic......I don't want to leave anyone out here as I've been following the MAC for many a year and the improvements by most all members the last 10 years has been nothing short of astounding. WMU, CMU, EMU, Miami, Kent, BG and OU have all already made big improvements.....and Akron has announced a beautiful new stadium as well. I'll be at the opening of the new and improved BSU stadium when they open with my RedHawks in a couple of weeks.....I'll be in one of the new Loge Suites so I'm looking forward to checking out BSU's new "digs".
Great. Except the UB Bulls logo is outdated by like 2 or 3 years. Way to go, NIU...

Yep, NIU is OK in my book!

If it looks like a hornet's nest, don't kick it.
BUT I AGREE!

Did they use the Huron logo for Eastern, too? That would rock!
Waldo Stadium at Western displays flags for the conference schools on top of the Bill Brown Center which runs the length of one of the sidelines. However our flags don't look nearly as nice as what NIU put up.
