Was there a big concert in Cincy called the Cincy Pop Festival, with Iggy Pop, Mountain, Grand Funk, Alice Cooper, and others? Youtube link, was anybody there?

I laugh evertime I see the Carnival Cruise TV spots. There is something fantastic about seeing a bunch of smiling happy playing, snorkling, dancing, adults and kids bouncing around to "Lust for Life", a song about how much Iggy likes heroine.

Wow, Iggy was playing? I like Iggy. I've heard he still puts on a great show. But then again I've heard the same thing about the Stones. Why can't rockers just succomb to age and give it up. I respect what you did, but just go away and die gracefully. We'll respect your legacy more. Wait, no that I read further along in the title, was this a recent show?

I am thinking 1970 at Crosely Field. The concert was broadcast and they had beer commercials and commentators.

In that case, I withdraw my above post. Damn, you jerks are old. My dad wasn't even going to shows then. Not my real dad per se, but the one whom I've come to call pops. May I suggest this for your avatar, which is possibly one of the best musical pieces ever concieved: I mean the Curtis Mayfield film score.
