Techfan4 is going to be there EARLYYY.... looks like our spot will be the deck across from the Cintergy deck. There is a sign that says "Cintergy Parking", take that road, only go to the deck on the right, rather than the left. The one we will be in is for a gym(maybe Golds?). Anybody got a map? Techfan thinks he can get a whole corner.

GameDay starts at 10 AM ... doubt I'll be able to get there THAT early... but should be arriving by about 11.

I suppose afterwards we can head to the Varsity... perhaps stop at B&N for some quick merchandise grabs.

That would put the tailgate starting unofficially at about 12:30 to head to the Varsity ... and really around 1:30? 2:00?

I will bring my laptop, a USB hard drive, and a wifi dish ... so we can use wifi to get score updates from around the nation. My laptop screen washes out with very little sunlight... so watch GT game videos, we'll need to figure something out... either some way to shade the laptop... or another device to connect it to. Laptop has SVideo and VGA out. Also, I will have game files on the USB hard drive.

Should we bring some NCAAbbs flyers?

Is it worthwhile to bring like a blackboard to write score updates on ... perhaps to attract some other fans/attention ... tell them about ncaabbs while they're there... :D

I like the blackboard idea, but I would suggest a white one. We're in the south, dude. Washable > Chalk

Anyways..Yes, bring flyers. I guarantee if we block off an entire section and get some football throwing, game watching, and score updates we'll attract a bunch.

Save 40-50 bucks for parking alone. In order to do this, we'll probably need to buy around 12-15 spaces at 10-20 a piece. Sometimes they were 10, other times they were 20. Obviously, for big games it's higher. Expect 20.

If we have 6 cars, that'll leave a good amount of room to move around.

Just a suggestion.

I doubt we'll be organized enough to pull that off... who can commit to pulling that off?

The guaranteed members there are me, you, Lucy, blazerball ... if we each buy an extra that's 8. If gtcooper comes, that's 10. Isn't that good?

Throwing a football around on an upper level parking deck? A brave man, you are.

I do have a Dallas Cowboys NERF, as I'd feel alot better flinging that around, as it won't put a window out

If needed, I might could invest in a whiteboard (a good Sunday School teacher should probably have one) and give it a testdrive at the tailgate.

I can bring an easel.

Okay, good location, just the other side of 5th Street from the Tech Square/Hotel & Convention Center deck.

But also, I beelieve the LA Fitness deck will bee open at 7 a.m., unlike most other places around campus.

I'll do the same. Also will take video of kickoff, first couple plays or so. And if the game is close at the end, anything that might be a big play.

Yeh, they're playing on campus. If it's the same place as they've played before, it's the Burger Bowl (off Ferst, between Hemphill & 6th).

Since game time isn't until 8, I might be able to make it for a little while in the afternoon -- depends on how late y'all are staying at the tailgate. I'm in ballet class 'til 2:45, then need to shower up, change, & rehydrate, and probably walk to campus. (We live about 2 mi away... so by the time I get there, there probably won't be any parking too much closer than the house anyway!)

So, y'all think you'll still be going ~4:30 or 5pm?

Yep. We will bee.

Then we will head down to YJA at around 6. Then go to the BSU for an hour or so after YJA and watch the band enter the stadium at 7:15 or so.

BSU is 10 seconds from BDS and YJA.

- 6:00 PM ... back from YJA ... final tailgate hoorah

- 7:00 PM ... Leave to Bobby Dodd
