Hawaii released its upcoming Rainbow Wahine basketball schedule yesterday. UH opens with Washington in the Waikiki Beach Marriott Classic, Nov. 16.
UC Davis and Northern Arizona also come for the opening tournament, while Hartford, Kentucky, Minnesota, UAB, Texas, Virginia and Lipscomb are in the field for the 29th annual Jack in the Box Rainbow Wahine Classic, Nov. 23-25.
Western Carolina, Tennessee Tech and Oregon State are in the Paradise Classic in mid-December and the Bank of Hawaii Invitational features Iona, UC Irvine and William & Mary at the end of the year. The Wahine also travel to a tournament at USC.
"It's a challenging schedule as always. ... Our non-conference schedule should get us ready for the (Western Athletic Conference)," Rainbow Wahine coach Jim Bolla said.
