Bobcats beat #14 UConn in 1993 last time they were in Hawaii while winning the Big Island Invitational with Gary Trent.

Georgia rpi of 63 is best in the field while UL-Lafayette is only team above 170 rpi at 270. Very well balanced field. Bobcats rank 3rd in rpi in this field behind Georgia and Hawaii. St John's very athletic team could be very much improved this year in BE.

A few Big name teams dropped out, but still should be a good test for Ohio.
Don't know what Ohio is suppose to have, but that's a very good field for the Bobcats to make some noise.
This would have been the senior years for Jeremy Fears and Tony Chatman. Both point guards transfered out. Bobcats would have been a real story had those two stuck around with Leon Williams, Jerome Tillman, Justin Orr and Bubba Walther on the roster. Bobcats brought in two JUCO's as band aids to get them over the next two years as they hope experience and better chemistry work better than headcases and primadonnas at the point.

I like WMU this year in hoops. showed a lot at MAC tournament for a young team.
WMU should be strong. Hopefully, they don't dig a deep hole with too tough of a schedule.
