MAC'sters,
Temple Season Ticket holders are being solicited, coerced even being threatened to give up their red hot tix. Most of us are keeping the faith. When was the last time you were offered $700 for your two home seats for 1 game. We intend to represent, brothers.
That Penn State ticket will be one of the hottest items in our area come fall. I know several alums who want to buy season tickets so they can scalp the Penn State ticket and make a profit on the whole deal.

i see no $700 tickets, and it seems like the same tickets are for sale through out all the games. Thats not a season ticket holder, they're called scalpers. 04-jawdrop
Check out the ticket prices for NIU vs. Iowa. Now these are some expensive tickets, and to think i bought 11 of them and paid $500 total.

BrotherPotts,
You were determined to see what you wanted to see but to see, you must see with your mind. Of course, they are scalpers, Temple isn't charging $270 per ticket. I can only spend so many mins out of a week outside of worship and prayer trying to enlighten you but, alas, you will not be enlightened. I have proved my proffered position and you have proved your determined ignorance.

Oh I get it...prophet. Thats why all the scripture...cute. This isn't news. We all know there are alot of Penn State fans in Pennsylvania who like to watch Penn State play. I hope Temple can stay within 40 points or so, but I doubt it.
Funny but for $25/adult and $15/child I was able to get 1st row right behind the bench.
maybe we should turn this into a temple season ticket promotional thread.

apparently not only can one get a PSU tix with a season tix (or a 3-game pack) but with a season tix, one can buy a large number of additional PSU tixs.

No reason to go to any online ticket service if one really wants PSU tixs.
Actually...you can only buy as many extra PSU game tickets as you have season tickets.
I have 2 season tickets and I'm limited to buy only 2 additional PSU game ticket. NO "large amounts" can be had.

Prophet, Maybe I don't understand what you're trying to say, but if that is the case, wouldn't it mean your entire stadium (or the stadium you use) is 100% sold out if tickets are 700 apiece(or even 350)?

Ok, curiosity got the best of me so I went and checked. You can still buy tickets on the 40yd line. I'm not sure what in the world are you talking about - who would pay above face for a game that isn't sold out?

ben
I know several people belonging to various PSU backer clubs and have tried getting large quantity ticket deals for busloads of fans and have gotten jerked around and can't get anything done as they refuse to budge, and even the guy in the office said it was unreasonable but his hands were tied. I think Temple thinks they are sitting on a goldmine with those tix, which they are if handled properly, but their mismanagement will leave them stuck in the end.
"$700 for your two seats for one game." I thought that was pretty clear I meant $350@. Regardless, this is a great thing for Temple and the MAC's invitation was based on Temple doing great things. I wont sell my tix for any price.....and I mean any price.

TU DE Leyon Azebuike will provider an invocation this morning for the MAC Media Day. He is a tremendous example of the ethic and determination which doesn't pepper TUFB facilities anymore....its saturated in it.
Same idiots have Delaware State @ Kent State tickets for $110, so I'm sure these prices really reflect true market value.
Bobcat season tickets for a family of four go as low as 89$ combined for 6 home games.....That's livin' the high life.....some at Temple should lose their high life credentials if they pay $350 for a game.

Insert "high life" and Ohio U. joke here. 03-lmfao

Scenario: Robert Redford approaches you in a Vegas casino. Offers a million dollars for a night with your Owls. You say no? I'm guessing that a million (which would qualify as "a price") would buy, say a hundred tickets on the fifty with enough left over to live a comfortable life for most of your remaining years. I'm a big UT fan but I'll sell my tix for the right price 'cause I can always buy more. But then I have a UT education.
