According to the Johnson City Press....ETSU will host a bracket buster game this year.

Not to be rude...I'm being serious. Do KSU fans know what the bracket buster actually is?

And being fair to KSU...its hard to ask them to be in the tournament when they're not 100% D-I yet.

getting excited about playing a game on the same day 99 other teams play is hardly worth getting excited for.

Rubbish! If Kennesaw were hosting a bracket buster this forum would be peppered with your excitement.

We hosted Western Kentucky and George Washington last year. Both of those teams would definitely compete with whoever you will be playing with your bracket busters, and would probably beat them. But nonetheless that is a great get. Anytime someone in the ASun can get a legitimate mid major school or more to play at their home court is a good get. Congratulations, just dont act like we havent done it as well.

I'm not sure you can compare hosting Western Kentucky and George Washington (though noble games in their own right) to being accepted in the bracket buster. I also dare say ETSU is the only A-sun school to be accepted in, though admittedly I have no knowledge of the two years prior to ETSU's entry into the A-sun. However, I have every confidence that Mercer fan can set that record straight once and for all.

Hmmm...the reason for this thread was to praise ETSU for hosting a significant home game. Along with it Goldfinger took his usual shot at Kennesaw. I merely mentioned that Kennesaw has hosted significant home games already in our brief career. I didnt take anything away from ETSU's hosting the game, just once again had to paint the true picture to Goldfinger.

I said nothing of your posterior. I unlike some other posters in this forum have the ability to post something without condescending towards the rest of this league. I have come to accept the fact that it might possibly be boosting your low self esteem to post in this manner so I have grown to accept your inadequacies. Congrats again on the bracket buster...that is a very worthy scheduling accomplishment for your staff.

You may need someone Kev. Goldfinger seems to get his daily kicks by insulting people on a message board. It is a very sad situation for someone to be in. Why oh why did you have to steal his lunch money in the 3rd grade. Now he has to "attempt" to pick on people on the internet in order to sleep at night.

This is great news! The A-Sun needed involvement in Bracket Busters badly. Congrats to ETSU for being picked up in the event. I'm also 99% sure that this is the first A-Sun selection into b. busters.
