July 5 issue of Indianapolis Star reports the following:

BSU began investigating Thompson & staff for possible violations in May by attending team workouts and then allegedly lying about having done so.

When accusations began to surface publically, notes appeared in coaches' office which included racial slurs and charges of cheating & lying.

Stay tuned.
This could get ugly but let's hope not.

Muncie Star Press quoting BSU AD: "Thompson is our coach now and in the future. "

Coach is currently on vacation and not returning phone calls. He is expected back Monday.

Hearing through the grapevine: Thmpson's on his way out and Ball St turned themselves in for all of the violations.

If thompson did knowingly indeed violate ncaa rules and lie about it , he is dumber than a brick.

Is it really worth risking everything out of the gate to gain some very minor or insignificant leg up on his players, the season etc....

Not sure what is worse the minor violation and cover up

How apparently a few bigots responded to the accusations with the note having the "N" word placed beneath coaches' office door..

I feel sorry for BSU fans that your (ex)coach could do this to you. Good luck in finding a replacement.
