Odom and WMU's MAtt Ludeman are on the US roster.
couldnt find a box score but USA beat Korea 77-0..allowing -31 yards and 0 first downs
odom had a punt return for a touchdown http://wc2007.info/777/stats/stats04.html
odem, punt retun, touchdown... in order for those words to be in the same sentance either they handed him the ball at the goal line or they were super bad...yea i know they are super bad but i thought id throw another option out there
It looks like all he did was returns. He was probably the tallest player on the field at the time.
How competitive are these other countries if our smaller-time collegiate athletes can pound the crap out of them 77-0? Is there even a point for having a world championship?

Why the heck couldn't he do that for us? Oh yeah, because we weren't playing Korea.
In Odom's defense he did return a couple of punts for TD's in his career at UT. The problem was that he either got a really big gain (happened like 4 or 5 times in his career with a couple of them being TD's) or he lost a yard or two on the return.

I love a return man who is willing to take some chances and create extra yards on returns even if they occasionally loose some yards on returns, but by the time he's a Senior, I expect the return man to recognize when it's best to run straight forward most of the time.
