A poll (perhaps a "Who's Now" :rolleyes3: style tournament of SportsCenter suck?) may come later- but for now- let's take nominations for most god-awful SportsCenter anchor.
My nominations:
Brian Kenny: way too in love with his own opinions
Stuart Scott: on principle
Linda Cohn: always way too in love with all teams New York
Neil Everett: just :cursin:ing annoying

You know, I haven't watched a weekday or Saturday Sportscenter in years and my life is better for it. I will sometimes catch the Sunday AM one with Bob Ley. IMO he is the the only one worth watching. Kenny Mayne and Craig Killborn were good, but I have a warped sense of humor.
As far as the worst, I can't vote as I don't watch it enough to make a judgement.
I'd list my bottom 3 as:
Brian Kenny - flat out boring
Stuart Scott - lazy eye is too distracting, uses same old catch phrases.
Linda Cohn - Loves Jeter too much.

I never watch it but Stuart Scott and I have something in common-and it isn't using the same catch phrases.
As for my favorite SC guy, it would be the associate producer for the 10 O'clock SC.

brian kenny is an idiot and i used to watch when he had a 2 hour show everyday and one day he spent 40 minutes arguing that Keith Hernandez should be in the hall of fame because he was the best defensive baseman of all time. even keith knows he doesnt deserve it then called floyd mayweather a punk in an interview 5 minutes later. the guys insane
rachel nichols- espn sideline reporter. no thanks i can do better

people still watch sportscenter? SUch a bias to eastern teams, why would anyone watch that garbage, but the worst anchor on there is Trey Wingo...horrendous. Actually they are all horrendous. CSN anchors are much better in my opinion.
Honestly, I prefer ESPNews but that's not in my current cable package. A bunch of nobody's who just give the facts with very little bias.
How you could not say Stuart Scott is unbelievable. You must be his optometrist if you don't vote for him.

+1 MD, you and I see eye to eye on many things, you're optimism for your favorite teams may sometimes be unrealistic but it's optimism nonetheless. SportsCenter is by far the worst sports show on TV, East Coast Propaganda, I LOVE COMCASTSPORTSNET because it covers all Chicago Sports and only the important national headlines, I haven't watched SportsCenter is 8 years. For Javy Vazquez tonight, I was there, three straight dominating performances for Javy.
the news anchors on comcast are horrific. ive never seen more awkward pauses and just stupid statements. anyone on sportscenter is lightyears ahead of bill melton etc.

True, but the key is that they are talking about CHICAGO sports, I'll listen to anybody if they cover Chicago sports. I don't give a flying **** about the Yankees.

I don't know why people consider me an optimist, if people knew me they would know Im not.
Huskietransfer I agree Javy has been awesome lately, only bad thing though is I'm worried he might end up being trade bait in a few weeks. His recent success has probably optimized his trade value. Let's hope the Sox can go into next year with the big 3 starters intact.
I have tickets to all 4 Twins games this weekend, and I do not even feel like going right now, sad state of affairs. Ill probably go to Friday night and Saturday afternoon's games. I see this Twins series really as the last stand.

SportsCenter is awful. The worst guy is Stuart Scott, but there are so many anchors on there that are so biased and ignorant. The BBTN guys are absolutely ridiculous with their east coast bias.
