Just a few questions about how the Riot will be handled this upcoming school year.

Is this going to be a type of fan group where the shirts are going to feature a new design every year, or will they be the same?

And if the design is going to be changed, how early are we expecting shirts to be available?

I know it was charted to be a Basketball Fan Group, but showing off nice new NIU Red Riot shirts at Soldier Field on the 1st of September wouldn't be a bad idea in my own opinion. Regardless if it's just supposed to be a Basketball fan group, I don't think you can not reach out and advertise at football events when that is where the majority of student support goes. Just some thoughts.

We are keeping the same shirts. You can get new ones though.

I agree, that it would be ideal if some people wore Red Riot shirts to other sporting events so people see our design more and know of us. Personally, i'll be wearing my NIU football jersey to the Soldier Field game.

But yes, i always thought the primary focus of Red Riot should be to support NIU Basketball (men and women). NIU Football already has support. That's not to say Red Riot members can't support other NIU sports teams but our primary focus should be marketing our Basketball programs even though niuhuskies.com doesn't give that impression.
