Could this thing get anymore intense? Per Rivals he passed out at the taping of his morning show. 11-17. He fell ill last week taping the same show. Supposedly it's more serious this time. He was not responding when the ambulance left. This will really put a damper on tommorrow's game if he passes away. Ho[pefully he comes out of this fine.

Go BUCKS!!!!!! get well sonn Bo.
Football: Earlier this morning former Michigan Head Football Coach Glen "Bo" Schembechler collapsed during a television taping at WXYZ television in Detroit.

Schembechler was taken by ambulance to Providence Hospital in the Detroit area. We have no report on his condition, but onlookers at the television station said that the situation appeared to be serious.

Schembechler is a native of Barberton, Ohio, and one of the architects of the Ohio State vs. Michigan rivalry. His 10-year competition with the late Woody Hayes is considered by many as the highpoint of the rivalry. Schembeckler played for Hayes at Miami of Ohio and later was a member of Hayes' OSU coaching staff.

More details when they are known.
Granted, I am not from your little Ohio Valley bus league, but I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

First of all, my post was in response to your first, insane rambling, post. Second, I think everyone is getting a little ahead of themselves with the historical aspects of this game.

Also, there is an ECU game tomorrow that means a whole heck of a lot more to me than the oHIo state and Meechigum game. Of course, you being a MACster and all wouldn't know what it was like to play football on Saturdays. It gives you all a great opportunity to pull for your closet BCS teams that actually have fans.

Louisiana-Lafayette at Florida International?

Seriously? Wow.

Speaking of MAC fans being fans of other schools first, did anybody see the shot of the lady, decked out in OSU gear, with the poster that read "Sorry Toledo, but I just can't wear blue and gold this week. GO BUCKEYES!" during the Toledo-Ball State game?

Yeah.

Apparently, there was a OSU/Mich promotion on the Toledo campus this week.

For this week, that is the game of the century for me.
I'm trying to figure out how this is political...

I think Dogger was just trying to share.
Oh, I just thought it might be another example of the liberal media bias. ;-)

Challenge to Kev:
Find a link to DU where someone is blaming Bush for this. lmfao

I had no idea that the death (from what is being reported now) of a former Michigan coach could affect the Rice-ECU game from a political perspective. Amazing! That's going to be one heck of a kick-em-down drag-em-out game. I've enjoyed the smack on this game all week. ;-)

The outcome of the ECU-Rice game will affect tides, moon cycles, and nuclear warheads.

And for those folks who don't venture around the BBS's, here's a link to the ECU v. Rice smack thread
