It sounds like a lot of nothing. I eat at Cracker Barrel rather frequently, and yes, sometimes there service sucks. If they offer you a free meal, you take the meal and then write a letter to the GM. You don't go crying to Al Sharpton.

I was at an Outback once, and after about 30 minutes, the manager came out and said they had forgotten our orders, and they were just cooking them now.
She apologized and offered us free desserts.

I'm with Blah (or maybe its the avatar distracting me... either way), why did she go to Crackel Barrel in the first place.
I know this a free country and all, but CB is the LAST place you'd want to go, even for ambience -- I've never understood my own mother's affection for the place EVEN after we were frowned upon when we visited a CB in Cookeville, TN back in the 90's.

I was actually referring to her comment about "neither of us wanted to eat", but your right, the food and white trash ambiance sucks too....
