You know...all this stuff will kill the format before it hits the shelves!!!

Also...think about when you want recordable HDDVD/BluRay

Also pay clsoe attention to you might want to have a tv w/ 2 HDMI ports!!!
-I am not 100% sure if HDMI is 2 way communication so think about the whole connectivity of it all .... HD cable/sat box (or if you are using the built in HD tuner for OTA/Cable) and you want to record that HD program. Currently you only have two sources of recordable HD.... a tivo/PVR that can do it and HDMiniDV camcorders. And those camcorders use firewire to transmitt the video (as far as I know). Those new hard drive camcorders DO NOT RECORD IN HD...same with the miniDVD models.

This is going to get worse before it gets better 03-weeping

they laso have some good articles on the new Toshibas.
we got in our A1 Toshiba the other day. It is pretty sweet. Hooked up to a HD Toshiba Plazma( not a doo doo ED plazma). Its also big as a MOFO!!

From looking at Toshibas web site and even Crutchfield I stil lcan't tell the differnece in why one would pay the extra $300 for hte AX1 version. THe specs look the same.

Blu Ray would have to look HELLA good for me to consider paying the extra $500 to get one of those because I don't think there will be $500 worth of picture wulaity difference in the two formats.
