With so many horrible congressmen making so many horrible moves, I figure I'll keep a running count here.

Rush, Bobby L. (D-IL) | House

Rays of Hope
Feingold, Russell (D-WI) | Senate

- One of a VERY small handful of congressmen to stand up against the MPAA/RIAA and denounce the highly flawed DMCA.

Wyden, Ron (D-OR) | Senate
- Created / moving forward legislation to stop AT&T and Verizon etc from engaging in 'cyberextortion' by demanding Google and others pay them to use "their pipes". [Net Neutrality Bill]

Bonus Pricks
Martin, Kevin (FCC Chairman)
- Leader behind many FCC campaigns, including massive censorship of television, forced broadcast flag obeying, proposing all analog devices encorporate DRM... etc.

Valenti, Jack (Former chairman of MPAA)
- Claims VCR's are the "Boston strangler" of the film industry
- Huge force in getting DMCA passed
- Thinks all P2P, legal or not, should be made illegal
- In support of expanding the FCC's outrageous censorship to cable TV, claimed that cable TV was, AND I QUOTE, "the most sordid vicious and unwholesome pornography you will ever see" and contained "incest" and "necrophilia" and other such outrageous claims.

You might want to add a few more. ...namely, the ones that are aiding our enemies and harming our soldiers, the ones that actually protect the rights you are complaining about. Liberals will say, "No, the Constitution protects my rights". I must ask, when has that sumbitch walked onto a battlefield?

I dare, double-dare, double-dog-dare, whatever you liberals want to call it, to challenge me on this. Your idiotic leaders place our troops in danger. I take no comfort in this debate. I just want you idiots to realize that yes, GDamn words DO get people killed. This ain't fantasy, *******. It also ain't no GDamn Risk game.

Oh, and if you people want to know why I am so pissed off lately, I've lost a few f-u--cking friends here recently. I shouldn't have to expound further.
Ted Stevens is my favorite. He just doesn't give a ****, I like that!

Well instead of taking it out on us, you should be firing off letter to your President who admits that "mistakes" were made with Iraq. :withstupid:

They believed in their mission. I believe in this mission. You liberals, whether you like it or not, DO put them in danger when you start this partisan BS just to regain power. They are already in a combat zone, you make it worse.
Will you stop with this "you liberals" bs. It makes you look ignorant.

The point of the matter is many Americans did not believe that we should have attacked Iraq. I am one of them. But just because I do not believe we should have went to war, does not mean that I do not support our troops.
Quote:just because I do not believe we should have went to war, does not mean that I do not support our troops.

Of course it does. The troops are horribly offended when you criticize the war or the President.

I guess I better watch my jokes when I'm home for Christmas.

That's fine that you did not agree with going INTO Iraq. Your ELECTED officials did. They agreed to it. They are there. Now, you cannot, I repeat cannot support the troops if you don't support their mission. It doesn't work that way.

I want to make it public that Russ Feingold has my vote. I've been following him passively for years now. My mom actually owes him a buck from decades ago :)

Valenti isn't that far off on the incest and necrophilia. At least one of those has been worked in as a storyline on WWE programming.
Valenti portrayed cable as one big orgy a la Spice etc.

If you agree with that ; please retake your medication.

Furthermore, I think with the V-chip etc it's easy to filter content on your TV if you don't want your children to watch it. If this is too much work you could *gasp* watch what your children watch and maybe... JUST MAYBE.. change the channel .... don't let this major secret out to Americans.... :shhh:

I view censorship of cable in the same light as sueing McDonald's for being fat.

Have an ounce of personal responsibility. I'm sick of lazy, stupid Americans blaming anything and anyone but themselves.

I wouldn't get into a whose politicians served debate, the republican side will lose. How many deferments did Cheney have? Take it easy and have a drink, I'll buy.

I see you've gotten your biased group e-mail. That e-mail is selectively created. It picks mostly Democrats that served and leaves out Republicans that served. We can go all the way down to the state or local level, if you want. I guarantee you that it will be you on the losing side. I thougt you were smarter than to believe something like that. Guess I was wrong.
Anyone have a list at the federal level?
