National League is up 17-11 after two days. Last year the AL won. I'm not sure why some people want to get rid of interleague. It is a nice part of the schedule every year now. You get to see some different teams and there is a budding AL/NL rivalry. Last year attendance was up 14% for interleague games, so I know I'm not in the minority on this opinion.
It sucked last year because I got sick of watching the O's play the Expos every year. This year it is a little better playing the NL West teams, it kind of sucks having more West Coast trips on the schedule but I like seeing different teams that I normally wouldnt get to see. Playing the NL East every year just got kind of old...

They play the teams in the American league 10-15 times a year and they've been doing it for 50 years. Playing the Expos, Marlins, Braves, Mets and Phillies 3 times a year is fine. Its a nice break from the normal schedule. Now that they are rotating divisions, its even better. We'll get the Phillies every year (our "natural rival") and then 5 other teams depending on which division we're matched up with. Thats pretty cool. Its just like the NFL's set up. It just seems to me that people are creating reasons to dislike it, because its popular to bash baseball.
I like it...only because the Braves are 2-0 so far this year

The first year it was cool because of the novelty but after that it was just tedious, boring and useless, I can kind of get into it again now that we play different teams, but I'm sorry I cant get excited about playing the Expos or Phillies like I do the Yankees or Redsox or Indians, or even the the Bluejays or Devil Rays. Unlike in the other pro sports the two leagues in baseball really are different and it just isnt right mixing them together. I enjoyed the games but just because of the novelty, I would much rather prefer Cleveland to come to the Yard a few more times than see the Orioles play the Phillies even if you call them a "natural" rival, Cleveland is the only real non division rival the O's have.
