Pass the Broom...

#8 'Noles Club #5 Ga Tech
FSU routs Jackets 13-1!
Complete 3 Game Sweep
Our young squad is getting their confidence. Looking forward to the regionals.
Since Wake owns you in the ACC Tourney you may as well start looking forward to regionals.

not the ACC tourney. A conservative estimate
is that we finish the regular season at 50-15.

We are 10-4 against top 10 teams this year.

We will host a regional and should be in position
to host a super regional.

We have 5 quality starters and in the NCAA's...
pitching becomes everything. I like our chances.
must have left them in Fla when you came to UNC!!!! I think you guys have been our ******* this year in most everything....who's ya daddy?
So are you saying the ACC Championship isn't important?

I know all about pitching being important in the postseason and we have the best closer in college baseball kicking ass and taking names for us.

Mark my words, when all is said and done this year Wake will still be the only ACC team to win a national championship in baseball.

Coming in here and talking trash will assure you that that's not gonna happen. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />
Seeing how we beat you I think we have every right to roll up in here and talk trash.
Ahem, I believe Fla State would be our ******* this year LK!! <img border="0" alt="[Laughing]" title="" src="graemlins/laughing.gif" />
Sorta like UNC is ours this year. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />
What's up LK? Damn <img border="0" alt="[bow]" title="" src="graemlins/bow.gif" />

I guess i have to represent ole Clemson. Clemson has a great chance of going all the way but so do UNC, FSU, Wake, and GT. The only thing that concerns me is the pitching. Plenty of talent but limited experience for many. Clemson has lost a couple of games that should have been total killings but every team has a couple of those.

If Clemson doesn't win it all i'll be pulling for one of the many ACC teams. The ACC can't truly be considered the greatest baseball conference until one of it's teams wins it all. And when that happens, no contest.
FSU is going to stomp UNC in football this year. I'll spot you guys 40 points.

Hey Karma, have the seeds for the ACC tourney came out yet?

Yeah Wake won a baseball championship but it was 50 YEARS ago. Not to take anything away from Wake's championship, but it really doesn't help give ACC baseball that added prestige when it's only won 1 and that was 50 years ago.

but if you lose in the acc tourney...there is still a next week. You lose in the NCAA's and you
go home.

You can talk trash...you took 2 of 3 from us. you've earned the right. But the season isn't
over...And this is not a flame...this is fact.
You don't win at the CWS...with just a great
closer. You need a deep quality rotation.

You will play a minimum of 4 and maybe 5 games
in 8 days. You must go deep in starters to get
to your closer. You can't bring him in the
6th inning every night.

We've been 18 times...5 runner-ups...believe me,
it's a lot harder than just a good closer.

But you have a great team...the league may put
as many as 6 teams in the NCAA's...with proper
seeding we could take 4 to Omaha.

'Course the best news of all...125 days to kickoff!
Wake has a lot better chance of advancing to Omaha if we can host the regionals. The no lights at Hooks hurts our chances every year like last year when we were sent to Tennessee.

Wake's pitching is solid; we did not get to be # 3 in the country from just good hitting. LK's point was that Wake has something above a great pitching rotation and that is Bush, who has to be among the top 2-3 closers in college right now. That gives Wake a great advantage come playoff time in close games.

Yes, football season is coming. I cannot wait. <img border="0" alt="[Cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/cheers.gif" />
Hey rick,

Evidently YOU'RE not our daddy, cuz our daddy doesn't have to ask...............
