How the heck is Rockingham, NC getting snow and we aren't?

Okay, how is it going to snow if the temperature keeps rising? :mad:

Just went from 41 to 42 degrees...now the sky has those promising gray snow clouds, but it needs to get colder! :bang:

Update: Snow has moved a couple of counties east of Rockingham, NC... but somehow has not gotten any closer to me. How is that possible?

No snow in the Atlanta area, but it just started to sleet here. It's about 39 right now so nothing will stick, but the roads and sidewalks will be nice and icy tomorrow morning.

Just started to snow here... and I mean SNOW.

The yard disappeared in 15 minutes.

Like JJ said, nothin but a little sleet a little while ago, but nothing else really...

Temp is finally falling in the ATL...down to 39. Unfortunately it looks like most of the precipitation has already moved through town. :frown: Maybe we'll still get a few flurries later on tonight, kinda like those we had at my house on Christmas Day. :angel:

What's amazing is so much stuff is closing tomorrow in the Atlanta area even though nothing really happened south of the city.

Hell hath frozen over indeed. Check out the low here tomorrow night.
