Farenheit 1 --> The number of people necessary to make Michael Moore's server burn.
Thats pretty funny about the website, death threats however are not cool.

Winner at Cannes festival. Are we suppose to be astounded? Surprised? Or expect it considering its an America bashing movie, and the french are the judges?

There's nothing little about him.

BTW, the judges at Cannes included Kathlene Turner and other non-French. However, since when do you trust Hollywood elite to understand world issues?

"Like, just be nice to everyone...Bodyguard get that man away from me!"

The head of the voting jury was Quentin Tarantino.

Knowing Michael Moore and how he operates:

1. He's hacking into his own website. (Or rather he's getting someone to do it for him)
2. He made the death threat himself.

Anything to sell one more movie admission.
Michael Moore is hilarious; he cracks me up. I'm looking forward to seeing his movie just to watch some of the silly stuff Bush does. I.ve seen one clip where the Prez says something to the effect of "We will not let terrorism stand..... now watch me take this drive." And then takes a golf swing. That was just funny.

Does anyone remember his TV show way back? I can't remember the name of it but I remember it being so funny.

The sad thing is that people like you take Michael Moore seriously.

I think it was 10 years ago, I had just recently arrived at UGa.

It was a funny show, good for a few chuckles. Not what I'd call "hilarious" like Monty Python, Benny Hill, early Chris Rock or a sober Paula Poundstone (well, I guess I don't know if Poundstone was really sober. How about pre-DUI?).
Well, good, because I don't think he's ever used facts in his "documentary".

which one?

I thought Bowling for Columbine was really well thought out. Good message too (and its NOT about gun control btw).

I haven't seen the new one yet so I don't know what sort of message he is trying to convey, or if he attempts to use any facts.

of
All of them. What was really pathetic was when he took bits and pieces of Charlton Heston talking and hacked it up to make it look like he was saying guns are evil.

I don't really think I took the whole Heston interview too seriously. I'm going to have to rent it again to remind myself. I do remember Dick Clark living up to his name and running into his little van, that was good.

I didn't feel as though he ever tried to make it seem as if guns were evil. He made the media's fear mongering to be more evil than guns.
