Texas lost their #1 seed, IMO.

BIG 10 (5)

:bang:

Ok, look, I'm not so much saying the MAC deserves five bids -- we don't, although I could make a solid argument in favor of two -- as the Big Eleven doesn't deserve five! After Michigan State's last two performances, even the win over Purdue, the Spartans should be grateful for an NIT berth, and as for Purdue, well...see above. The Big Ten just isn't that strong this season, IMO. The only teams that should really go are Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.

Having said all that, the Big Ten will probably get four-five teams in. :bang:

Me thinks the SEC has way too much pulling power to only get 4 in, especially when Auburn ended up 20-10. A team like SIU might get left out because of that.

Butler better get in or there will be some serious hell raised by the Horizon Conf. If they get left out, they would've gone something like 50-10 in the last 2 years and not gone to the dance either year.

Troy State 04-cheers
Kent State really deserves to be in the NCAA tournament. But because it is so rare that the MAC gets 2 teams in, they will have to settle for the NIT. I wouldn't be surprised if Kent makes a huge run in the NIT.

Central Michigan will surprise people. Kaman is better than your average 7 footer and will alter the inside game of whoever they play.
63 out of 65..not bad

Alabama and Auburn got in...
Boston College and Seton Hall were left out...
