... per Amy Lawrence this afternoon. Apparently he's been cleared to play again after suffering a soft-tissue injury to his neck in the Sooners' game against Texas Tech on Sunday there. I believe he was hit by a line drive.
I hope he'll be back. He is perhaps OU's leading pitcher, however I don't think LHP Buddy Blair gets quite enough credit. In his last start he went 7 innings, gave up only one run (I don't remember how many hits).
