LET ME JUST GIVE YOU SOME INFO ON MAJOR WINGATE..THIS GUYS BOUT 610 220 MAJOR HOPES CAN BLOCK SHOTS LIKE CRAZY..IF UNC CAN SIGN HIM WE WILL BE UNSTOPIBLE PLEASE SOMEBODY GIVE ME SUM FEEDBACK.

Wingate isn't even a top 50 player; in Bob Gibbon's recent top 100, Wingate was in the 90s.
Right now the focus is to land Butch or Padgett. They are both top 10, and are probably the top 2 centers heading college.
If we miss on them both, we will have to see what the staff does. Wingate along with some other centers like Sims, Green, etc. are our backup plans I believe if we miss on Butch and Padgett.
If you think that we would be unstoppable with Wingate who is top90, then we will purely dominate with a top10 prospect like Butch or Padgett.

hoops, my point being that we already have Grant who is considered a project and is somewhere near the 100 rank. I knew that he was already in this bunch and Sanders too along with three other role players <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> and Noel. Wingate appears to be the same, a project to some extent and also ranked fairly close to 100. I don't know if they can differentiate that well between number 90 and say number 115.
What we need is a top tier center and not another work in progress. Just an opinion.
