Hope anyone traveling to Tempe enjoys there stay, be sure to check out Mill Ave., Scottsdale and downtown Phx if you have the time. ASU is coming off a huge blowout against the Stanford Cardinal and Andrew Walter leads the nation in passing efficiency 12TDs 1Int with over 800yds passing, yesterday was his first start of the season. I think the UNC D will have trouble stopping the air attack but I am concerned with the running game, what type of offensive attack do you think the Tarheels will attemp, I think this is a very good Tarheel team, definately better than the record indicates, the game is at 7pm which could mess with the UNC players since that would be a 10pm start your time, hope it is an exciting game, any thoughts?

Welcome to our board. I am looking forward to the game. As JD said, we have been doing well on the road so far this year (1-0 ). Anyways, we Tar Heels look forward to discussing the game with you SDSundevil. Go Heels!
My mother-in-law is in Phoenix. If I can get her a sideline pass, could you bribe some of your players to take her out on a play that goes out of bounds?
I'll see what I can do about the sideline pass, but she may be on the visitors side if so you will have to handle the players side of the deal!
The good news for ASU is they are relatively healthy and playing their best ball of the year thus far. Walters(QB,RS Soph) and Candidate(TB,true frosh)both started their first games of the season and responded by having great performances. The Defense was playing very well after the first quarter as they were tackling hitting and taking the ball away. ASU seems to have a lot going for them but I hope they don't lose any focus, I know UNC is talented and very hungry for a win, with Oregon State on tap the following week I hope the Devils keep there attention to UNC, I look for ASU to go deep until UNC stops them with frequency, I know Durant has a strong arm and is mobile in the and out of the pocket, do you expect him to hang in the pocket and air the ball downfield or do you think the Heels will run a lot and try some option or trickery. The crowd should be pumped for this non conf matchup, this is a very rare meeting between the Devils and an ACC team, let alone the tarheels.

If your interested here's some players to watch:

Defense:
DE Terrel Suggs (jr) #48-preseaon AA leads Pac Ten in Sacks.
FS Jason Shivers(so) #30-Great Speed and fundamentals
FS Riccardo Stewart(so) #7-hits hard
SS Al Williams (sr)-hits very hard, has broken wrist though sometimes gets burnt deep
CB RJ Oliver (fr)-played very good last 2 games young but improving
off the bench
LB Jamar Williams (fr)#44-great fundamentals/instincts
LB Solomon Bates (sr) #1-great run stopper, medioctre vs pass.

Offense-
WR Shaun MacDonald(jr) #81 one of pac tens best
QB Andrew Walter #16(so) young inexperienced a bit of a wild card but playing great right now(leads nation in pass eff.)
WR Daryl Lightfoot #9(so) fastest reciever just returned vs Stan after leave of absence following death of mother, caught 5 balls for 87yds and a TD,he is also a punt/Kick return threat.
O line- a big question mark coming into the season they have been decent so far, I hear UNC has a physical albeit young Dline they may test the Devs.

Aiken is a threat and your TE's are huge, we may see an air attack both ways!
