I'm figuring this will come out about 30/70 based on the number of Cons who frequent this board but hey let the chips fall where they may. . .

Or are you guys a bunch of young-uns that are trying to buck the system? I did that in '92 (I was 19) when I voted for Pea Rot, and I have regretted it ever since.

I think Perot was pretty durned smart, a visionary. He had some ideas that the two popular parties will never entertain (because their hands are tied by PAC's and lobby dollars).
On the 3rd parties, since 1972 about 20% of voting Americans vote third party. These numbers have remained steady since then.

Yes Pea rot had some great ideas, and yes I thought he was a refreshing conservative option, but darn that guy was annoying. Even Dana Carvey's impersonation was less annoying than the Real Perot. Of course, my vote did not cost GHWB anything (he still won my state).
I realize I am your worst nightmare (Conservative, Christian, Insurance company employee), but come on, quit stalking me. My father-in-law is a liberal psychologist, do you need a referral? :bang:
