aight guys im workin on my grad project here and its due monday(just to let you know, im basically explaining how the selection process for the tourney works) aight is this right?

2001=65teams

1985-2000=64teams

1975-1984=32teams

1951-1974= 16-18teams

<1951=8teams

would really appreciate knowing if im wrong here, thanks guys!

it would be cool if you guys could tell me how the teams used to be chosen and why the # of teams in the tourney has changed so much over the years... THANKS GUYS!!
