This is nothing but positive news. Ford is another guy that's good to have on the bench to help relate with your players. He's also a dang good recruiter.

Whatever it takes to win I guess that's what it's ALL about at Carolina now. I guess that will buy Doh another year or two. I heard they were bringing Rasheed Wallace back to help out with the team's boxing techniques. Maktar Ndjai (whatever) is returning for a table manners workshop too!

I read an article about Ford coming back to coach over at TarheelTalk. Don't get too excited yet, many people believe tarheel talk is run by abc'ers and they are stiring up speculation. If the story is true, it is said that Ford is supposed to meet with Dean Smith about weather or not to take the position.
I hope Phil does return to the bench!

I have wanted Ford on the bench the entire time. This is great news, although I don't really believe it since it is from TarHeel talk. Hopefully we will get the same news from a more reliable source soon.
