Stupid, stupid, stupid.
A lot of TTPers believe that he might have been trying to "sleep it off," which would be the only smart thing he seemed to do. He certainly wasn't in a hurry to go somewhere if he was sitting there for fifteen minutes.
However, I'm guessing he saw the cop and tried to look less suspicious by "moving along" -- which was a dumb move. And, without that, he could still get the DWI just by sitting in the front seat with the key in the ignition. Also, he's underage....
Those are all reasons why Bunting will lay down some serious punishment regardless of what the law does. He broke team rules and will get nailed for it.
