He didn't quit. He was forced out. If the damn owners and managers let him run that program like he wanted, they'd have been a winning team. They butted heads with Steve from the get go.
he didn't quit and he wasn't fired.
he was blackmailed.
there is a difference. :D
I think he's much better off not being the coach of that team. He's probably relieved.

I smell nebraska fans drooling. Sort of.
He's going back to college, I bet.

Like, to pick up an MBA or something?

Umm, what was Washington, DC then, the place he spent the last two years? The average temp for DC in the months of Nov, Dec, and Jan(the major football months) is 35 degrees. Not exactly Alaska, but not exactly fun and sun either.
do college coaches work as hard as NFL coaches? I know that NFL coaches work at least 20 hour days.

I think they do. Coaching college football is a lot of work.
I felt sorry for the guy.

1st the redskins hold a press conference to say he resigned.

Then he calls a newspaper or something and tells them it is not true.

Then he learns from his agent that yes he did indeed resign.

Talk about being left out of the loop in your own career.
