Yeah, we sure couldn't stop your rushing game. Our defense was just not in the game tonight at all. Plus, we had some big penalties that really kept us out of the game. Nice win GT.
All I will say is that we killed ourselves in that game. It was one of the most frustrating games I've been to in awhile (well, the Miami of Ohio turnoverfest was another frustrating one). To quote Bunting after that game: "Well, we found another way to give a game away."
That fumble by the TE really took the air out of our team (and fans). We would have been up 6 (or possibly 7) and had the momentum on defense. Instead, it was like they gave up out there.
Credit Tech for making some huge plays on third down. They just kept
willing those third-down conversions. Really, though, it seems as though they could have had it all day long. Our corners are playing so soft on the receivers that they should have the short pass all day long.
And penalties... geesh. You just can't do that to yourself against a team like Tech and expect to have a shot at the game.
The good news is that we're going on the road next week -- where we're 1-0. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

that was an awesome game. gtech fans, ya'll have a great quarterback for the future in bilbo. my high school played his school in the playoffs the year he led moss point to the championship and i've never seen a quarterback light it up like he can.
