I'll say the Cubs hold together and win it.
i agree. while the cubs (and that moron farnsworth) suck, the giants seem to suck more.
Suck? LOL! I don't know about that. They ARE in the hunt for a playoff spot.

BTW, swoosh, great game by Schmidt today, huh? LOL, just messing with you, man. :D

oh, c'mon. the cubs are awful. but it just so happens that nobody in baseball is really that good.
If they were awful they wouldn't be 15 (or however many it is) games over .500.
I'll say the Cubs. They are in the stronger Division.
They prolly wont make it but the Astros have an outside shot of getting the wild card spot. They just took 3 out of 4 against the cubs, have won 11 out of thier last 14 and are 4 games out now.
Don't count out the Marlins either.
I picked Chicago from the three available choices.

sure they would. what you don't understand is how awful MLB is this year. The Giants are about to be tied with the cubs. yet we really suck. i mean, if you watch the giants as much as i do, you'll notice how pathetic they are. everyone on this board seems to be laboring under the illusion that if a team has a good record, then they must be a good team. but that definitely isn't true. The NL west and central are very weak divisions, and the east isn't much better.
All right. They are good when compared to the rest of baseball.

yeah, but that's only because the rest of baseball isn't as skilled as it used to be.
That's my point.
