Yes, there were some sloppy plays and turnovers. There were mental errors, but much of the stuff came from hustling too hard at times.
I did see something I haven't seen in several years. The ability to make the comeback with pressure D, the tenacity and desire to win, and raw but real talent.
Even if we had lost I would have been too disappointed compared to last year, but I'm ecstatic that we won. It will be a good experience and confidence builder for these guys.
I was pleased to see Coach D use timeouts to settle the team down and remind them to get the ball inside. I thought the coaching staff did well, although I'm sure there will be those over at IC who are going to criticise them no matter what.
