That woman needs to learn that her son is sadly dead, and only God or some other Diety can bring him back, not GWB, she has taken this to far and her son probably turns in his grave for what his mother did.
I bet she used to brag about her son being in the military, but now she refuses the fact that sometimes people in the military have to die, even if they don't agree in the purpose. If he were drafted, I would be more sympathetic. But its an all volunteer military. He knew what he was getting into. You can't have the honor without the risk. Obviously, she still has yet to understand that.

T, I seriously doubt she bragged about her son being in the military. The ***** is about as anti-military as one can get.

Was that prior to her son's unfortunate death? I don't think she's a publicity hound, but why didn't she start the protest, or whatever, while her son was serving? Many mothers have lost their sons serving in Iraq, what makes her kid so special? Though I don't blame her as much as the bleeding heart "liberals" humping the latest cause.

Twice. He re-enlisted after his first tour.

OK, I don't know what's wrong with the link. Go to Star-telegram.com, go to opinions, look for article entitled "marchers sometimes don't get it.

Good article - I wonder if anyone here has read <a href='http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1586483471/102-8036296-5716149?v=glance&n=283155&s=books&v=glance' target='_blank'>his book</a> <a href='http://www.williamshawcross.com/glasgow.html' target='_blank'>[1]</a>. Different title, <a href='http://www.williamshawcross.com/peace.html' target='_blank'>different link</a>, same article, no registration.
Thanks, Larry. Life as a Luddite is not easy.
