The nature of the intentional foul is to ensure that players don't get HURT. Yeah, like CDR was putting Greg 'get every call since he's gonna be a first round draft pick and we don't want the one-year NCAA rule to be blamed for causing a poor draft pick' Oden in danger.
These refs are HOSING us. Plain and simple.
I've have no problem with the intentional foul call.

The LAST thing the NCAA wants is to see Oden get hurt.
Remember, this is the first year of the 'nineteen-year old rule' - which is designed to keep up fan interest. If Oden got hurt, people would scream bloody murder...so it doesn't surprise me that Oden has been as protected as he has.
Oh, and by the way refs....HOW ABOUT CALLING A MOVING SCREEN FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIVES.
