Moderator Duties:
- Keep the discussion going
- Recruit new posters (but do NOT spam!!)
- Check the board everyday (if possible)
- Treat everybody on a fair and equal field, even if they are not on the board you moderate
- Do not censor/lock/delete every post by someone you see as a problem. Come to an admin if there is a problem of that magnitude.
- Remove any outright personal attack immediately
- If discussion is negative towards your school, that does IN NO WAY mean you can censor it, provided it was presented in a non-flame way. Your school can't have a God-like day everyday, and I'm sure there's people that want to discuss the good AND the bad. Even if there are people that just discuss the bad... more power to them.
- Do not let personal relationships change your judgement
- BE HUMBLE. It's natural to get a sense of over-empowerment as a mod. Try not to let the position go to your head.
