There were 4 different coaches for Florida State during the '70s. The coaches were 1970 - Bill Peterson; 1971-73 Larry Jones; 1974-75 Darrell Mudra; and 1976 and on Bobby Bowden!!!

A note about Mudra.
He was a highly successful small college coach before
and after his short tenure at Florida State.
He just wasn't a good fit. He was from the midwest
But, he was a decent coach. He could also recruit.
Players he recruited won big for Bobby.
He was also a rarity. He coached from the Press Box!
Which is probably the best place to "coach" a game.
