3 reasons:
1) If you don't guard JJ worth all your life, you've committed suicide.
2) When you guard JJ, you leave your 2nd best (at best), to guard Dahntay. Chances are the guy who is guarding JJ is quick and tall (which is the best prototype to guard a shooter) and that should leave someone either slower or shorter to guard Dahntay. We know what happens when smaller or slower players try to guard Dahntay. :)
3) Ewing is a silent assassin. Teams forget about him, concentrating on Redick and Jones so much.
