Olympic skier Jeremy Bloom had two touchdowns in Colorado's scrimmage Saturday, two days before he planned to announce whether he will give up his skiing endorsements to play college football.
Bloom wanted to keep his corporate ski sponsors while playing for the Colorado Buffaloes, but NCAA rules prohibit product endorsements by college athletes.
A judge on Thursday denied Bloom's request for an injunction that would have let him play football while his lawsuit against the NCAA continues.
Bloom, who placed ninth in freestyle moguls at the Salt Lake City Olympics, has said he cannot afford a skiing career without corporate sponsors. He plans to announce Monday whether he will give up the endorsements to play football.
During Saturday's scrimmage, Bloom returned a punt 59 yards for a touchdown and caught a 65-yard pass from Zac Colvin for another score.
