John Croyle, former Alabama football player under Bear Bryant, was the guest speaker at the annual Daddy-Daughter Banquet at our church Monday night (2/26).
His son is Brodie Croyle who played at Alabama and is now with the Chiefs.
John had an NFL career in front of him but he decided to open a children's ranch instead.
The work they do there is pretty amazing. Children whose parents have disowned them, sold them, beaten them, etc live full time at the ranch.
There are still some good people out there.
