This is where you get the low down on what we need to do to make the tournament. With our SOS, 17 wins should get us in. As we start the second round of the ACC, every game is crucial, if we are going to make the NCAA tournament.
After our win over FSU we are 12-10. :D
We need atleast 5 more wins .
With 8 regular season games remaining, we must win 5.
Next up: UVA @ HOME
Clemson - loss
Duke - loss
Maryland - loss
NCSU - win
Wake - loss
UVA - loss
GT - win
That's how it will probably play out, thus not even making the NIT, because you would be (presuming you beat A&T) 15-15.

Throw the tourney talk into File 13 for now. We have a tune up against A&T before the trip to Maryland. I really don't see how we get enough wins to get in the dance right now.

There aren't many teams that go from a record like 8-20 to the NCAA's in one year. A good run in the NIT wouldn't be that terrible. We might even have made the big dance with a healthy May, but that wasn't in the cards.
We've improved. We've got better talent. There is more talent on the way. I'm not going to complain. It's taken other teams more than two seasons to rebuild. There's nothing to be gained by cutting down the coach or the players at a time like this as folks are doing over on IC.
I think I'll go make my pledge to the Ram's Club.

FWIW, you would be definitely NCAA bound with May, IMO.

hmmmm... you're an admin, right, so you control all the boards... so is it fair for Hoops to come and flame the Duke board after Duke loses, but I won't post again on the UNC forum if UNC loses and I flame?

This is the SAME argument that I had before with Damascus. I edited something of his, and then he asked why i didn't control it on this other thread. I said, because I dont control that board. THEN, you came onto that thread and told me that I was wrong. What gives? :rolleyes:
