The Seminoles had 2 HUGE innings in this game; the 1st (6 runs) and the 6th (11 runs). And the game was called after the 6th inning because the Mountaineers' travel arrangements. There were 20 walks in the game given to the Seminoles, 14 consecutive batters (a new record since Friday's record) came to the plate in the their last at bat and the final score was ...

Seminoles 17

Mountaineers 0

Eddie Martinez-Esteve, our freshman 3rd baser, hit a 3-run homerun in the 1st inning and was the Player of the Game

With Texas losing 2 games to Stanford this weekend, there is a very good chance that the Seminoles will be the new #1 in 2 polls!!! :D
Is that the final or just the end of the first quarter!!!

Since Texas lost 2 of 3 to Stanford I look for them to drop in the polls, and I think Rice is getting to much credit at no. 2. I say Rice is more like a 6-15 team.

ASU beat Notre Dame today 14-8 , they are now 21-1 and should check in at no3 in the polls probably behind GT, and FSU!And your right, FSU will probably be #1 in a couple polls, I tend to look at Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls the most, they are a little more fine tuned and into college Baseball than ESPN and USA Today!
