You say to take your issues to PM, but since you have gone into the business of policing and reading people's private messages (I think you should rename the function since they are in no way private) and suspending their PM privileges, I have no choice.

Not that I didn't know that you guys could read private messages, but it's actually pretty twisted and sophomoric to be so paranaoid that you actually make the effort to read private messages.

Here's the PM and response that got my PM privileges suspended:

For the record, mods do not have access to any PM's other than there own. Just like any other poster.

Technically, someone could forward a PM to a mod I guess, but I repeat... mods do not have access to other poster's PM's.

I wouldn't know, I'm not an admin. Even if mods did have the abilty to access other people's PM's, I'd hope all would realize what "private" means, I do.

Out of curiosity, who are the admins? Also who is UncleZ, and why is he a mod with so few posts?

By the way, I think that 2 Tiger message boards are great. Just more places to discuss Tiger sports commentary and news.

I don't know who the "Kevin" is that is referenced above but I would bet that the people behind starting a new board are the ones who are always causing some problems or posting just plain non-sense on here and are the ones usually crying about being mistreated the most. I'm sure in their minds they don't deserve the criticism they get but they do.

Btiger did post the link to the supposed new board the other day and before that post was deleted I posted that I hope enjoys himself over there.

I think if you guys want to start a new board have every right but I also believe that the Administrators and Moderators of this board are under no obligation to allow whoever to advertise their new message board on here.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I did nothing to have my PM privileges revoked.

I want to know:

1) Why it happened
2) Who did it

Show some sack and answer my questions.

I'll see if I can find a list somewhere. I don't have one myself. Obviously, SCConway is an admin, as is GTS. If you are admin, you are an admin across all of NCAAbbs and have equal access to all forums. ATTALLABLAZE is an admin and runs the UAB board. There are others out there. Like I said, I'll see if I can find a list for you.

That's cool. Many share your opinion. I happen to like this board, but if the Admins want to take a swashbuckling approach to everything and start banning & revoking privileges for no reason, they're going to force a lot of really good posters to other places.

I think the current approach to their perceived problem is heading down the path of doing a lot more harm than good to MT.org. I sure didn't expect to be pushed out today.

Contrary to their elaborate distortion of reality, not everybody on this board is on the same team as the island of misfit toys. PMs are like emails... anybody can forward them in about 2 seconds.

But I suppose it furthers your cause to immediately and without proof go for the Big Brother Theory. I suppose I was the gunman on the grassy knoll too?

If you're going to concoct conspiracy theories about invasion of privacy, at least point your crosshairs on somebody who isn't a staunch libertarian... it will at least make you seem not entirely batshit crazy.
