In a game full of hard hits, homeruns & lead changes, Miami comes from behind with a Ryan Braun HR in the bottom of the 9th to beat NC State 10-9. Only the 4th HR relief pitcher Joey Devine has given up all season. :frown:

Pack scored six runs in the sixth inning, only to have Miami answer with 5 runs in the bottom half. Should've put Shipwash in before that inning got out of hand. That game hurt :bang:

Yeah, Miami is like that. You score big in an inning and they come back and do the same. Or you will have the lead, and Miami wins it in the bottom of the 9th like they did to you today or have done to the Noles. We play them 6 games every year and several years ago at the College World Series, they beat us in the Championship game in the bottom of the 9th. It is definitely deflating. :frown:

Well, Miami has exploded for 6 runs in the top of the 11th, so that looks like the end of our season. But a pretty damn good one overall! And I think we'd have won this series in Wilson.
