Just looking through some stats, because Duke will probably be even worse in 2004 (and that's saying something! 
).
In 2004, they will lose virtually all of their top players from '03...
Top 2 RBs - Chris Douglas and Alex Wade, who are probably the best tag team combo in the ACC. Top 2 defensive players - LB Ryan Fowler, who had 145 tackles and 15 for loss last year, and safety Terrell Smith, who had 106 tackles and 3 picks. Throw DT Matt Zielinski (sp?) and four of their starting five off. linemen in there too.
All that talent lost from a group that's lost 32 of 34 career games (.058 winning percentage), and plays on a team that is 14-75 since 1995. :eek:
