Will Memphis continue to dominate Oxford recruiting?

USC is one of ten offers for linebacker John Frink (6-1, 220) of Oxford, Miss. His others are Mississippi, Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Kentucky, Indiana, Rice and Memphis.

USC is South Carolina..

I didn't know you were in on Frink. I know he's been a target of ours. Surprisingly there are still quite a few prospects in this class for Oxford. I don't think any are what you would call blue-chippers, but they have some very solid players coming out of there this year. One of them, Jamison Hughes, son of one of our coaches is already committed to us of course. I say surprisingly, because you wouldn't think that a town the size of Oxford would produce more than maybe one or two D-1 prospects every so often.

It would appear that with OM coaches of all types sending kids there and some players who are alums staying in Oxford, that there would be a disproportionate number of atheletes per capita in the local high school.
